Bartender – Spotted Donkey:
Location: The Westin Westminster, Westminster, CO
Schedule: Full-time or Part-time | Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

About the Role:
Spotted Donkey Cantina at The Westin Westminster is seeking an experienced and personable Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. Our restaurant serves hotel guests, local diners, and event attendees in a lively and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, enjoys engaging with guests, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

As a bartender, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring beverages are prepared accurately, efficiently, and according to brand and service standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards.
• Provide friendly, attentive service to guests seated at the bar and within the restaurant when needed.
• Maintain full knowledge of the bar menu, cocktail recipes, beer selections, and wine offerings.
• Manage bar inventory and restock supplies as needed throughout the shift.
• Process guest orders and payments accurately using the restaurant POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area at all times.
• Follow all alcohol service laws and responsible beverage service practices.
• Work closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Assist with opening and closing duties including cleaning, stocking, and preparing the bar for the next shift.
• Provide exceptional hospitality that reflects Westin and Marriott service standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience required; restaurant or hotel experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and wine service.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• TIPS or equivalent alcohol service certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
