2nd Grade Teacher – Pine Harbor Christian Academy (Hastings, MN)

Pine Harbor Christian Academy (PHCA) is seeking a full-time 2nd Grade Teacher for the upcoming school year . PHCA is a K–8 Christian school committed to partnering with families to provide strong academics while developing Christ-centered character and leadership.

Our approach combines academics, biblical values, leadership, and service to help students discover their God-given gifts and grow into leaders who influence their world.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and demonstrate a growing Christian faith
• Be actively involved in a local Christian church
• Support and uphold the school’s statement of faith and moral conduct policy
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
• Be passionate about Christian education and the spiritual development of children

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming Christ-centered classroom environment
• Teach core elementary subjects including Bible, Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies
• Integrate a biblical worldview into daily learning, including prayer and Scripture
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support student growth
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
• Participate in school events and support the broader ministry of PHCA
