POSITION DESCRIPTION 

Title: Bartender/Host
Position: Looking for both part time (1-3 shifts a week) and full-time bartenders/hosts (3-5 shifts a week) need weekday and weekend availability.
Location: Feather & Tail - 4020 N. Rockwell St. Chicago, IL 60618
Pay: $15.00 per hour plus tips

FEATHER & TAIL OVERVIEW: A new cocktail bar opening in May 2026. It will feature a full bar with a variety of hand crafted cocktails, 4 - steel tip digitally automated dart lanes, bar snacks and an elevated atmosphere.

POSITION SUMMARY: We work as a team and individuals will be expected to work both bartending and host shifts. All shifts are a part of a daily tip pool.

Bartender - Make craft cocktails and serve a fully stocked bar including a light food menu. Actively engage with customers to create an inviting and elevated craft cocktail experience.
Host - Welcome patrons, direct them to their dart lanes, take drink and food orders, troubleshoot dart lanes, clear tables, and assist behind the bar when needed.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

The physical requirements listed are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions and key responsibilities of this position. Work conditions in certain areas of the bar/brewery can be hot, cold, wet, slippery and/or noisy. Frequent walking, including climbing up and down stairs are required. Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, lift, twist, kneel, crouch, crawl, pull, push, carry, grasp, reach and stoop as needed, sometimes for extended periods, and to occasionally lift and carry heavy items up to 40+ pounds (may be aided).

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages. 
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers.
• Illinois Basset Certification..
• Two years experience as a craft cocktail bartender
