Job Opportunity: Estimator - Commercial Painting Industry

Are you a skilled E stimator looking to join a growing team in the commercial painting industry ? gpac has partnered with an established company dedicated to delivering high-quality and cost-efficient interior and exterior coating services for over 30 years.

I am looking for an Estimator who is ready to take on exciting challenges and contribute to this company's continued success.

What You'll Do:

* Review blueprints, specifications, and related documents to prepare estimates.
* Attend pre-bid walkthroughs when necessary.
* Interpret painting, fireproofing, and floor coating scopes and perform takeoffs using specialized software.
* Generate detailed proposals based on project scope and client needs.
* Maintain bid follow-up lists and ensure timely tracking.
* Review material specifications and source pricing from vendors.

What You'll Have:

* 2+ years of experience in blueprint estimating or relevant industry experience.
* Proficiency with takeoff software.
* Strong PC skills and familiarity with Microsoft applications.
* Reliable and eager to learn.
* Strong ability to read blueprints and perform takeoffs.
* A team player with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Experience in PlanSwift
