Full-Time Dental Assistant
Old Town Alexandria

Our well-established, patient-focused dental practice in Old Town Alexandria is looking for a friendly, motivated, and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team full-time!

What You’ll Do: 

As a valued member of our clinical team, you will:

• Assist the doctor in all aspects of general dentistry
• Obtain diagnostic records (iTero scans, x-rays, photos, impressions)
• Fabricate Essex retainers and study models
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring a comfortable experience
• Record medical and dental histories and vital signs
• Assist during examinations and procedures
• Provide post-operative instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Support inventory management and overall office efficiency
• Contribute to patient satisfaction and help the office achieve its goals

What We’re Looking For: 

• 1–2 years of dental assisting experience (general dentistry preferred)
• X-ray certification required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Case presentation skills are a plus
