About this opportunity:

The Environmental Engineer supports air compliance programs at the Lima Refining Company through accurate recordkeeping, reporting, and application of environmental regulations. This site-wide role works closely with refinery personnel and contractors to gather information, ensure compliance, and support environmental processes. This role requires a strong technical understanding of refinery operations and proactive engagement across the workforce.

What you'll do:
  • Support daily refinery operations to ensure compliance with air and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate environmental records, reports, and emissions calculations.
  • Analyze environmental data to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide compliance guidance to operations, maintenance, and technical teams.
  • Support MOCs, turnarounds, capital projects, audits, and agency inspections.
  • Prepare and maintain environmental documents, databases, spreadsheets, and technical reports

Who you are:
  • Legally authorized to work in the US
  • B.S. in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or related Science Degree
  • 1+ years of Environmental engineering experience equivalent in the refining or petrochemical industry
