The MLC Fitness Center offers:
The Fitness Center is one of the busiest locations on campus, especially during peak times of use. It is a place full of energy and activity. It is often a loud environment. Attention to safety and detail is of the utmost importance when supervising the Fitness Center. The clientele of the Fitness Center range in age from student to senior citizen and the supervisor must be prepared and able to engage with populations from all walks of life.
Employment start/stop dates: August 24, 2026 – May 21, 2027 (with the possibility of 1-3 positions for the fall or spring semester only)
Working hours and days: 8-14 hours per week, generally Monday – Sunday
Salary: Tier 2 — $12.41 per hour
Benefits: Student workers are not benefit-eligible, but receive campus and community benefits through their status as students.
Regular or Occasional: Regular – Student Life policies state: student employees may only have one regular job and may not work more than 19 hours per week.
