Location: South Bay / Torrance & Sometimes Remote / From Home, BUT MUST BE LOCAL

Hours: +/- 10 hours a week, flexible

Wages: $30/h

You: Grad student, research student (with an Engineering type mind), semi-retired but computer / internet power user, stay-at-home parent who has had a career but now needs time for their family

+hopefully, someone who will be around in this position for a few years rather than months.

Job content:

Boutique Internet Marketing Agency executive needs a part-time Research Assistant / Executive Assistant who will:

Assist non-native English speaking executive with business emails, I.T. vendor management & contact, quote procurement (from I.T. vendors, marketing / advertising outlets etc.) market research for use in RFPs, client contact, research on marketing / online advertising methods, various project management assistance, contract technical / creative worker procurement & management, + many other day-to-day operational details assistance.

Who we need:

An ABSOLUTELY detail oriented, responsible, organized, efficient computer (+ internet) power user with the ability to work from results-in, with a sense of humor, who is professional.

Who won't like this job:

• If you prefer to sit back and wait to have a task explained, you will hate this position.
• If you aren’t an experienced researcher and writer, you will hate this position.
• If you don’t absolutely love using and learning new things on your own, and new software, you will hate this position.
• If you couldn’t care less about grammar or precise effective writing in English, ditto.

BUT

• If you’re studious, curious, precise, driven and positive, and always take notes when someone’s explaining something new to you, (and then go off and fill in the blanks on your own with your own research), we think you’ll love it.

Also, if you happen to speak Japanese, even better, but we’re looking for a person with absolute native English fluency and professional writing skills.
