Salary: $102,003 - 120,598 per year Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in an IT-related field or equivalent professional experience
- At least five (5) years of experience supporting IT systems in a GxP environment
- Minimum of seven (7) years in an end-user-facing computer support position, ideally in a regulated sector
- Advanced knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems and essential PC applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Proven track record of collaboration with laboratory system vendors and cross-functional teams
- Strong ability to work autonomously without direct supervision
- Exceptional customer service skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Capability to manage Tier 2 and Tier 3 incidents
- Competence in planning and prioritizing tasks independently
- Proficiency in managing Active Directory, DNS, and other assigned server applications
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple concurrent projects
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with individuals at all levels of the organization

Responsibilities: - Own the complete lifecycle of laboratory instrument workstations, including configuration, hardening, and software installation
- Configure instrument controllers and ensure proper integration with laboratory processes
- Collaborate with lab personnel, systems owners, and operational teams to support workflow requirements
- Coordinate with vendors for installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of validated laboratory systems
- Support integration efforts with LIMS, ELN, and other laboratory data management systems
- Apply vendor-approved patches and upgrades to maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Assist in validation activities, including test execution and documentation
- Ensure adherence to data integrity principles, identifying and rectifying gaps
- Maintain up-to-date audit-ready documentation including configuration records and change logs
- Serve as the key onsite IT support resource, managing daily operational needs independently
- Act as a point of escalation for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, resolving complex issues independently
- Prioritize and respond to user service requests, logging activities in the IT ticketing system
- Provide remote support to team members at other locations as needed
- Oversee workstation setup and troubleshooting of hardware in both office and lab environments
- Facilitate new employee onboarding with workstation preparation and account provisioning
- Set up and support audio/video equipment for site meetings and scheduled events
- Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts in Active Directory and other systems
- Conduct quarterly access reviews and implement least-privilege security measures
- Utilize advanced knowledge of Active Directory and configuration management to resolve access issues
- Diagnose connectivity problems related to TCP/IP, VLANs, and firewall rules
- Maintain network and desktop printing support for laboratory equipment
- Partner with infrastructure teams to optimize connectivity and ensure system reliability
- Provide real-time coaching to lab staff on instrument software and data integrity practices
- Develop and update knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures, and configuration documentation
- Mentor junior Lab Systems Support Specialist team members across various sites
- Keep accurate inventory records of laboratory PCs, instruments, and software licenses
- Identify and assist in planning for equipment replacements and upgrades
- Track lifecycle status of validated systems and manage upgrade or replacement processes
- Maintain the security and integrity of company systems at all times
- Perform additional duties as assigned
