Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Travel Assignment

Location: Roswell NM 88201

Contract Duration: 8 Weeks

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an 8-week travel assignment in Roswell NM. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. This role requires a patient-focused professional committed to delivering safe effective and timely care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs performing wound care and assisting with daily living activities
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
• Accurately document patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Assist physicians and RNs during examinations and medical procedures
• Educate patients and their families on care plans medications and preventive healthcare practices
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards safety guidelines and healthcare regulations
• Respond promptly to patient needs and changes in condition

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico or Compact State License (Required)
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification (Required)
• Experience with EMR systems and clinical documentation
• Strong communication organizational and teamwork skills
• Compassionate approach with a commitment to high-quality patient care
