Role Description

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer for a contract, hybrid role based in Reno, NV, with flexibility for some remote work. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing mechanical systems and machines, creating detailed product designs using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal solutions. Key responsibilities include analyzing project requirements, developing innovative design solutions, and troubleshooting engineering challenges during both prototyping and production phases.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design, with a strong focus on innovation and functionality
• Expertise in Machine Design and Mechanical Engineering, along with a solid understanding of mechanical systems and their development
• Advanced experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for drafting and modeling
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials is a plus
• Experience in testing and validating designs during the production process is beneficial
