Inspire Mental Health Services is looking for experienced per diem nurse practitioners (PMHNP-BC) who want flexible, meaningful work at a practice that treats its providers as well as its patients.

About Us:
IMHS is an established psychiatric practice on Manhattan's Upper West Side. We provide compassionate, evidence-based medication management for adults and children, and we accept most major insurance plans so our patients can access care regardless of their financial situation. About You:
You're a nurse practitioner who prescribes thoughtfully and monitors closely because you understand that good psychiatric care goes well beyond writing a script. You communicate well with the people in your care and the team around you. You're curious about new approaches and open to growing your skill set, whether that's through our ketamine program or the ongoing learning opportunities we offer. And above all, you care about making quality psychiatric care accessible to the communities who need it most.
The Role:
We are looking for per diem NP’s with a minimum commitment of 10 patient contact hours per week. Work can be either hybrid or fully remote. This is a W2 position.
You'll evaluate and treat psychiatric conditions across the lifespan, including anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Your day-to-day will include developing comprehensive treatment plans, prescribing and monitoring medications, screening patients for higher levels of care when needed, and educating patients on self-management strategies. You'll also have strong administrative support behind you, so the majority of your time is spent on clinical work, not paperwork.
Our New Ketamine Program:
We're launching an affordable intravenous ketamine therapy service so if you're interested, we'll train you in every aspect of the process, from initial consultation and prescribing through to administration and monitoring. It's a chance to add a valuable new dimension to your practice in a rapidly growing area of psychiatric care with proper training and ethical guidance.
Compensation and Perks:
You'll earn $60 per patient-contact on a fee-for-service basis. Your hourly earnings will range from $60 to $180 depending on the number of patient contacts per hour.
Malpractice insurance is provided, so you're covered from day one. You'll also have access to peer and individual supervision, because even experienced clinicians benefit from a team around them who understand the work. Qualifications:
Experience with children and adolescents is a plus as well as geriatric patients. And if you're bilingual in Spanish, even better, as we have a large Spanish-speaking community who deserve care in their first language.
