job summary:
We're seeking an Quality and Food Safety Manager with 5+ years of experience for a food processing plant in New Kensington, PA.

Must have: - Experience or certification with Food Safety, SQF and HAACP.

- Experience with leading quality assurance systems in a food processing plant, especially with meat processing is preferred.

- Knowledge and proven ability to uphold regulatory standards.

- Ability to respond to inquiries from customers and regulatory agencies. Database (SAP preferred) experience with SPC and statistics.

responsibilities:

• Conducts routine sanitation checks as part of the Food Safety/Quality Assurance team.

• Manges the Plant Food Safety and Quality Assurance department.

• Ensures food safety system is properly written, validated, documented, and implemented following USDA and FDA regulatory compliance.

• Appiles continuous improvement strategies to lead the Quality Management System for the entire plant.

• Reports to the Plant Manager, Corporate Food Safety Manager, and Corporate QA Manager.
