Job Title: Responsive Web Designer

Location: 100% Remote role (Louisville, KY)

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, and peers to lead the team through the design-to-code workflow.
• Present design concepts, rationale, and final deliverables to leadership and help secure buy-in for proposed changes.
• Proactively address concerns related to user experience and state management (active, inactive, etc.).
• Stay current on UI/UX concepts, capabilities, and best practices.
• Advocate for the user and champion ADA and WCAG accessibility standards across the platform.
• Conceptualize and translate user needs into visually compelling and intuitive designs.

Job Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience as a User Designer, Interaction Designer, or User Experience Designer/Architect.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD etc.).
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Strong understanding of interaction design principles and current global UI/design pattern standards.
• Proven ability to conduct user research, including focus groups or interviews, and translate findings into actionable design decisions.
• Experience building interactive prototypes and finalized mockups in Figma, structured for team collaboration and reuse.
• Ability to present recommendations to leadership and gain buy-in
• Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously -improving consumer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extremely well-organized and capable of handling multiple (and sometimes conflicting) priorities effectively.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Familiarity with data and governance.
