We are recruiting for the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of building materials. They are looking for dependable Delivery Material Handlers to assist in getting products safely from the warehouse to the job site. What You’ll Do:
- Heavy Lifting: Load and unload delivery vehicles, consistently handling materials weighing 75–100 lbs.
- Rooftop Delivery: Assist in moving products onto residential and commercial rooftops (harness and safety equipment provided).
- Team Support: Assist drivers in maneuvering vehicles and staging products at jobsites.
- Precision: Double-check all loads for accuracy and ensure everything is secured safely for transport.
What’s Required:
- Physical Strength: Ability to lift 75–100 lbs consistently and stand, bend, or climb ladders throughout the shift.
- Comfort with Heights: Must be willing and able to work physically on rooftops.
- Safety First: Strict adherence to all safety policies and equipment requirements.
- Experience: Previous forklift experience is preferred but not required.
- Attitude: A positive, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities
- They unload orders according to customer specifications with the help of various delivery equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts
- Delivery Material Handlers specialize in ground and/or rooftop deliveries
- For rooftop deliveries, you will physically work on rooftops to complete the job
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Assisting with loading products onto rooftops
- Assisting in maneuvering delivery vehicles
- Delivering product in non-CDL required vehicles
- Providing superior customer service
- Double checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery
- Providing warehouse support as needed
- Responsibilities may include assisting with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and delivery functions including unloading and staging of product at jobsites as assigned
- Performing all duties safely
The essential functions of this role include:
- working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- manual lifting up to 75lbs
- standing for 5 hours at one time
- working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
- working weekends
