This position is responsible for the planning developing and managing the execution of Public Service Electric and Gas Companys materials management inventory storeroom operations and materials logistics strategies statewide at over 24 different locations. Responsibilities include providing oversight of daily storeroom operations including functions performed by a team of management bargaining unit and contractors in a manner that ensures personnel safety asset protection and resource optimization. The Manager Material and Logistics Management is also responsible for optimizing PSE&Gs material inventory material storage and distribution logistics and work management process in support of corporate goals for continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with regulatory compliance and other key internal controls. PSE&Gs Materials Management organization receives and delivers over $200 million is materials annually to internal clients and manages over $500 million in inventory plus spare equipment necessary to ensure the safe economic and reliable delivery of electricity and natural gas to millions of customers. The team encompasses over 100 employees working across 24 or more locations statewide.
