Job Description

829’s Senior SEO Specialist role is a mid-level position on the Search Engine Optimization team. You will be reporting directly to an SEO Manager and service a book of small to medium clients independently or in teams.  An ideal candidate for this role will have a solid foundation of common SEO concepts, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for growth in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.  This role requires previous experience with search engine optimization and offers a straightforward career path to advance within the team.

What you'll do:

• Auditing websites for SEO
• Addressing technical issues
• Developing in-depth content strategy based on keyword and market research
• Writing and implementing search engine optimized copy
• Optimizing client-produced content for SEO
• Direct communication with clients when necessary

What you'll bring:

• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on SEO
• Experience with Wordpress, SquareSpace, or other CMS
• Experience with SEMRush or equivalent tools
• Good understanding of Google Analytics
• Nice to Have: Front-end development experience and/orHubSpot experience

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000

We determine compensation based on experience, demonstrated skills, and current market conditions at the time of hire to ensure fairness and consistency across roles. Actual compensation will depend on experience and may be adjusted based on skills, qualifications, and alignment with the scope and impact of the role.
