Job Description

Salary: $90,000 - 127,000 per year Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Slack Administrator, demonstrating expertise in managing channels, user groups, and guest access
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira Service Desk, Zendesk, or Freshdesk
  • Strong ability to manage ticket queues effectively, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and maintaining thorough documentation
  • Experience in hardware management, including the handling of YubiKeys, peripherals, and loaner laptops
  • Proficient in providing macOS support, with skills in basic user-level troubleshooting
  • Excellent written communication skills, enabling clear and concise responses to tickets
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee Slack administration functions
  • Process changes in channel memberships and user groups
  • Transition channels between private and public settings as required
  • Invite single-channel guests and external collaborators; oversee Slack Connect channel approvals
  • Diagnose Slack login and Single Sign-On (SSO) issues
  • Review and approve or direct Slack app integration requests in accordance with company policies
