Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (EST preferred)
Duration: 3 - 6 Month Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role will focus on automating deployments, improving development workflows, and leveraging modern DevOps practices using Microsoft Azure and GitHub .
Key Responsibilities
Azure Cloud Engineering
Design and implement cloud solutions using Azure services (App Services, AKS, Functions, Storage, etc.)
Manage infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
Monitor system performance, availability, and scalability across environments
Implement secure, cost-effective cloud architectures
CI/CD Pipeline Development
Build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
Automate build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments
Integrate code quality checks, security scanning, and automated testing into pipelines
Troubleshoot and optimize pipeline performance and reliability
GitHub & Source Control
Manage repositories, branching strategies, and pull request workflows in GitHub
Implement GitHub Actions for automation and deployment pipelines
Enforce code governance, version control best practices, and release management processes
Collaborate with development teams to streamline code integration and delivery
Security & DevOps Best Practices
Implement secure DevOps practices (secrets management, identity access, compliance)
Integrate security tools and policies into CI/CD pipelines
Support DevSecOps initiatives and Zero Trust principles
Ensure proper logging, monitoring, and alerting across systems
Required Qualifications
Azure cloud engineering and DevOps
Strong hands-on experience with:
o Azure services (compute, networking, storage)
o CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
o GitHub repository management and workflows
Experience building and maintaining automated deployment pipelines
Proficiency with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep)
