Job Description
Our client was founded in the 1980's and provides Electrical and Data Cabling construction services. The team is looking to hire a Bookkeeper to report to the Controller. The ideal candidate has experience with QuickBooks Enterprise software.

- SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
- CONTRACT PAY: $38.00 - $42.00 (convert $85,000 - $90,000)

Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process high-volume invoices, manage vendor relations, and handle collections to ensure healthy cash flow.
- Project Accounting: Track project-specific costs, manage certificates of insurance (COIs), and prepare monthly progress billings (AIA G702/G703).
- Payroll Administration: Process weekly payroll for field and office staff, including tracking union fringes and certified payroll reporting.
- Compliance: Handle preliminary notices, lien waivers (conditional and unconditional), and ensure all project documentation meets California construction standards.
- Financial Reporting: Assist with month-end closing, bank reconciliations, and the preparation of financial statements for senior management.
- Administrative Support: Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records and contracts.
