The Role
As a Landscape Architect, you’ll contribute across all phases of landscape architecture projects—from early schematic design through construction documentation and administration. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal team members while helping guide projects forward with clarity, creativity, and technical excellence.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate within an interdisciplinary design team to deliver thoughtful, well-coordinated projects
Partner with clients to understand project goals, needs, and vision
Coordinate with external consultants, including architects, engineers, surveyors, planners, and estimators
Manage multiple projects concurrently, contributing across all phases of design and delivery
Compile complete drawing sets and oversee technical documentation
Understand and manage project schedules and deliverables
Coordinate and produce technical specifications
Contribute ideas, problem-solving, and leadership within project teams
Prepare designs and plans using AutoCAD, Land F/X, and Civil 3D
Develop presentations and graphics using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
Support construction administration and ongoing client engagement
Perform additional duties as needed to support project success
What You Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Landscape Architecture program (or equivalent)
12+ years of professional landscape architecture experience
Professional licensure
Strong ability to communicate design ideas through hand graphics, digital tools, and visual presentations
Proven ability to manage multiple projects while staying organized and proactive
Interest in emerging research, tools, and technologies within the profession
Collaborative mindset with a desire to share ideas, mentor others, and contribute to team success
Preferred Experience
Specialized experience in irrigation design and/or sports field design
Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, and presentation skills
Experience with standard design processes, construction drawing sets, client engagement, and project management
Technical Skills
AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Land F/X
Google SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion 10.0 or later
Microsoft Office Suite
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $90,000–$110,000 DOE
