Tax Accountant Position:

Great Opportunity for an Experienced CPA/Accountant.

Certified Public Accounting firm is seeking an experienced CPA/Accountant with a minimum of four to six (4-6) years of taxation experience within a public accounting setting.

We are looking for a self-motivated, talented, individual who will contribute to our team and grow with our firm. The ideal candidate will be organized, work effectively with staff and clients, and will have excellent time management skills. We are looking for individuals who pursue their interest in professional growth and would look forward to advancement opportunities with our firm.

Preparation of Federal and State returns using the following common forms:

• 1040
• 1041
• 1065
• 1120
• 1120S
• 990

Communication through email, telephone and regular mail with clients.

Desired Skills and Experience:

We are looking for a person with the following traits and abilities:

• Accounting degree.
• 4-6 plus years experience preparing tax returns for individual and entity clients.
• Tax software operating skills.
• Writing, math and communication skills need to be at a high level.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook is required.
• A CPA certificate is highly desired upon hiring and will be required within two years of employment.
• Must be able to work in a team setting.
• Must be able to perform bookkeeping and accounting functions.
